"THE DREAM is still alive" for West Coast ruckman Nic Naitanui.

After Luke Shuey's post-siren heroics against Port Adelaide on Saturday night, Naitanui posted a video on social media of his animated celebrations as the Eagles progressed to a semi-final against Greater Western Sydney.

"The dream is still alive," he wrote on Twitter, telling Shuey: "'Bootsy' I will carry your bags all week".

The Eagles star has recovered from a knee reconstruction after more than 12 months on the sidelines and is available for selection through the finals.

The 27-year-old has not played any football at WAFL level, however, to gain match fitness, while ruck combo Nathan Vardy and Drew Petrie were excellent against the Power.

West Coast faces the Giants at Spotless Stadium next Saturday night in a do-or-die final after Adelaide thumped the Giants by 36 points on Thursday night's preliminary final.

The Eagles have suggested Naitanui is a chance to return from his knee injury, suffered in round 22 last year, after a sustained block of training.
