HIGH-FLYING Collingwood forward Jamie Elliott is in severe doubt for Saturday's game against West Coast at Etihad Stadium after missing the club's main training session on Thursday.

Elliott, who has kicked 28 goals in 14 games in 2015, did not appear on the track with teammates and instead received treatment inside the Westpac Centre after experiencing soreness.

The small forward trained earlier in the week and the Magpies are yet to rule out the talented forward for the match against the Eagles.

Levi Greenwood is the likely replacement for the suspended Taylor Adams following three games back at VFL level after breaking his leg in the pre-season.

Tyson Goldsack, who has missed the past two games with knee tendinitis, should also be right to resume for the Magpies.

The teams will be announced on AFL.com.au at 6.25pm on Thursday night.
