THE POTENTIAL No.1 pick at the 2023 AFL Draft, Harley Reid, will play his first game of this year's Under-18 Boys Championships when Vic Country takes on South Australia at Ikon Park from 10.30am on Sunday.

Reid is set to be the headline act in Sunday's game after a blistering start to the NAB League season with the Bendigo Pioneers. The Tongala product was named All-Australian at last year's U18 Championships after a sensational campaign as a 17-year-old with Vic Country and will be looking for back-to-back honours.

Other key players to watch in the Country team on Sunday include Zane Duursma, a lively forward/mid who is the brother of Port Adelaide pair Xavier and Yasmin, and ruck prospect Archer Reid

SA stars Ashton Moir and Jack Delean will turn out for their third games of the championships, while Sid Draper will be looking to back up his 27-disposal performance against Vic Metro last weekend.
