The AFL has today confirmed the fixture for Week Two of the 2023 rebel VFLW Finals Series.

Saturday, July 15
Second Semi Final, Collingwood (1st) vs. Essendon (5th)

First Semi Final, Port Melbourne (2nd) vs. Carlton (6th)

All matches in the 2023 rebel VFLW Finals Series will be broadcast live and free on AFL.com.au and the AFL Live Official App.

Collingwood and Essendon will be vying for the first place in the 2023 rebel VFLW Grand Final in Saturday’s clash at Victoria Park. The loser will remain in the premiership race and advance into the preliminary final.

The Bombers are the reigning rebel VFLW premiers after winning last year’s premiership in an undefeated campaign. The Magpies last won the flag in 2019, having also reached the Grand Final in 2021 before the season was abandoned.

Port Melbourne hosts Carlton at ETU Stadium on Sunday in the first semi final where the winner will progress to the preliminary final and the loser will be eliminated.

The 2023 rebel VFLW home and away season featured 12 teams competing across a 14-round fixture.

The top-six teams on the ladder at the conclusion of the home and away season qualified for the 2023 rebel VFLW Finals Series.

The finals format remains unchanged from 2022, with the finals series to be played across four weeks.

The higher ranked team on the rebel VFLW Ladder at the conclusion of the home and away season will play host to matches in Weeks One and Two of the 2023 rebel VFLW Finals Series.

Both the Preliminary Final and Grand Final will be played at Port Melbourne’s ETU Stadium.
