Wagtales is a new animated children's series from the AFL designed to introduce young audiences to the game through storytelling, fun and adventure.
The series follows the adventures of Willie Wagtail and his family, a group of curious and energetic Willie Wagtail birds who explore the world around them alongside Willie's best friend, Major, a Major Mitchell Cockatoo.
Through stories centred on friendship, teamwork, problem-solving, kindness and community, Wagtales brings footy-inspired themes to life in a way that is engaging and relatable for children aged 4 to 7 years.
Available on the Official Wagtales YouTube Channel, Wagtales forms part of the AFL's commitment to inspiring the next generation of fans through original entertainment, taking AFL storytelling to the platforms and environments where children increasingly discover, watch and engage with content.
