GRACE Egan will be a Tiger once more, with the former Richmond VFLW player securing a trade from Carlton to Punt Rd in exchange for draft pick No.25 (the 13th Victorian selection).

As first reported by womens.afl, 21-year-old Egan informed the Blues of her wish to be traded to Richmond ahead of the official sign and trade period.

Egan is the latest big name to depart Carlton, with important duo Madison Prespakis and Georgia Gee heading to expansion side Essendon and 42-gamer Nicola Stevens traded to St Kilda.

To get the Egan trade done, Richmond traded pick No.18 to Hawthorn in exchange for pick No.30 and pick No.33, then traded both selections to Collingwood in exchange for pick No.25 and pick No.38. It then used pick No.25 for Carlton's Egan.

Collingwood then sent pick No.33 to Geelong in exchange for Olivia Barber.

A tall forward, Barber played 10 games for the Cats over two seasons, but was hampered by a knee injury in 2022.

Barber wasn't the only Cat to officially leave Geelong on Friday, with spearhead Phoebe McWilliams heading to Carlton in exchange for picks Nos.21 and 42 (Victorian picks Nos.10 and 23). The Blues also received pick No.17 (Victorian No.8) in the deal.

McWilliams played 14 games (and kicked 14 goals) for Greater Western Sydney before moving to Geelong, where she kicked 21 goals across 31 games.

The 36-year-old was the Giants' leading goalkicker in 2017 and 2018, and the Cats' in 2022.

The Saints improved their ruck stocks, signing All-Australian Giant Erin McKinnon (plus pick No. 52) in exchange for pick No. 37.
