The stakes continue to rise as we hit Round 5 of the NAB AFL Women’s Competition. On Saturday afternoon, March 2, it’s the big cats versus the small cats in an AFLW first.
The Lions will be taking on newcomers to the league, Geelong, at Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex. They may be new, but Geelong have some impressive talent on their side. The Lions will need to be in top form to win this one, but on home turf and with your support they may just have the edge.
As with any AFLW game, there’ll be more than footy on offer with plenty of Summer festival vibes. All up it’s going to be a beautiful night to enjoy being outside with family, or friends, and witnessing some outstanding footy.
