FREMANTLE has called a media conference for Friday with three club leaders amid off-field speculation centred around the future of senior coach Ross Lyon.

President Dale Alcock, CEO Steve Rosich and Lyon and will front the media at 12.30pm AWST (2.30pm AEST).

You can watch it LIVE on AFL.com.au and the AFL App.

The Dockers' board has confirmed its backing for its besieged coach. Fremantle released a statement on Friday that supported Lyon, who is at the centre of workplace harassment allegations.

"Since joining the club in late 2011, Ross Lyon has clearly demonstrated that he is a very experienced, hard-working and committed senior coach and that continues to be the case today," Alcock said in the statement.

"Ross' working relationship with his coaching team and playing group is outstanding and is reflected in the focused and cohesive way the players and coaches plan and prepare for every training session and every game.

"Ross is fully committed to our list rebuild and the ongoing development and growth of both our young and experienced players.

"Ross is also committed to and continues to demonstrate improvement and growth as a senior person at the club.

"As a club we are fully committed to Ross as our senior coach and the recent media speculation does not in any way alter the board and the club's commitment to Ross as senior coach of the Fremantle Dockers."

ROSS SAFE? Lyon's job not in jeopardy, says Bell

The club on Thursday night confirmed a second complainant had come forward about a separate matter involving Lyon that was referred to the AFL's Integrity Unit.

AFL chief executive Gillon McLachlan addressed the matter on Friday morning.

"Just for clarity, our integrity department are not investigating a second issue," McLachlan told 3AW.

Asked if he had spoken with the club official at the centre of the allegations, McLachlan said he had but "not in recent days."

Asked if Lyon's position was becoming untenable, McLachlan said: "I don't believe so. I don't have any other information."

McLachlan said he remained comfortable with how the investigation was handled by the AFL Integrity Department.
