AFL Central Victoria in partnership with the BFNL and our other affiliates is currently seeking applicants for the position of Administration & Operations Coordinator.

Based in Bendigo, the successful candidate will be a self starter, positive, enthusiastic and will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience within a similar role. Importantly, you will demonstrate behaviours that align to AFL Central Vic values.

The Administration & Operations Coordinator will play a key role in the administration of the affiliate leagues in the region. There will be a particular emphasis on the BFNL and the BJFL. The position will also play a role in supporting the ROM & RGM in delivering the objectives of the mutually agreed strategic plan for the region.

You will be expected to possess strong administrative skills, have a proven track record of outstanding communication, both written and oral, and be a person with exceptional people skills. This role also requires the ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and discretion at all times. You will be energetic and a volume producer of work. The ability to manage a number of tasks at once and prioritise demands is critical. The successful candidate will clearly understand the difference between urgent and important, and be a team player, with proven ability to work within a small team environment. You will be a “doer” and enjoy rolling up your sleeves.

Ideally, you have honed your skills within the sporting industry and have qualifications in business, administration, sports management or a related discipline.
