THE FINAL match of Gather Round looms as a potential banana skin for reigning premier Collingwood up against a young Hawthorn outfit.

The Magpies kickstarted their season with a win over Brisbane at the Gabba but now need to back it up at another victory away from home.

MAGPIES v HAWKS Follow it LIVE

Hawthorn stayed in the contest against the white-hot Geelong even as stormy weather and lightning put a dampener on the match. But honourable losses should be well short of enough for the Hawks as they look to find ways to win and perhaps even repeat their upset of the Pies last year.

The Magpies have recalled Steele Sidebottom in place of Fin Macrae, but the veteran won't start the game as he's been named the sub.

The Hawks have been hit by injuries with Luke Breust (groin), Mitch Lewis (hamstring) and Nick Watson (ankle) sidelined, as Sam Butler, Max Ramsden, Finn Maginness and Seamus Mitchell come into their side.

Henry Hustwaite is Hawthorn's sub.

Richmond and St Kilda are facing off at Norwood Oval in the second of three games on the final day of Gather Round.

The Tigers were quickly brought crashing back to Earth after their stirring victory against Sydney in round three was soured by injuries to Tom Lynch and Noah Balta.

The Tigers built their win on intense pressure but after losing two key pillars will likely have to also find a strength around stoppages to upset a shaky St Kilda.

TIGERS v SAINTS Follow it LIVE

St Kilda was left to rue not making the most of its early dominance and putting Essendon away last week as another defeat has left clouds hanging over a promising start to its campaign.

The Saints can hardly afford to let another game slip when they face a wounded Richmond especially with a clash with GWS coming up after that.

St Kilda welcomes back gun forward Max King in place of the suspended Marcus Windhager (suspended) while the Tigers regain Dustin Martin and Jack Graham with Kane McAuliffe to make his debut as the substitute. Tom Lynch (hamstring), Noah Balta (knee) and Liam Baker (suspended) are sidelined.
