North Melbourne coach Brad Scott has opted for two changes for Saturday night's match against St Kilda.

Tall defender Nathan Grima and dangerous forward Corey Jones have been brought in with Scott McMahon and Leigh Harding making way for them following the loss to Port Adelaide.

A broken finger sidelined Grima for much of the Kangaroos’ pre-season campaign, but he has forced his way into the side after returning against Sydney in the NAB Challenge and following up with a solid performance for Werribee.

The 24 year-old played 13 games in 2009, quickly proving his ability to hold down a key position role alongside Scott Thompson.

Jones meanwhile faced a tough week on the sidelines in round one as the designated travelling emergency for the trip to Adelaide. While others had the chance to play in the VFL, he watched on as his teammates fell short against the Power.

With 155 games under his belt, Jones is now one of the most experienced campaigners at North Melbourne and will hope to provide the attacking spark that was missing in the first half last week.

Eligible rookie Ben Speight and power forward Aaron Edwards will both be forced to impress again at VFL level after missing out on selection, while first pick Ben Cunnington is still at least another week from a debut.

The team will have a special open training session on Friday (tomorrow) from 10.15am. Supporters are welcome to Arden Street to enjoy easter egg giveaways and a visit from mascot Barry Brooser Cracker.
