THE 2019 finals series is locked in. 

Geelong, Collingwood, Richmond, Brisbane, West Coast, Greater Western Sydney, the Western Bulldogs and Essendon will play off for the premiership. 

Collingwood 10.16 (76) def Essendon 10.5 (65)
  • The Pies will finish fourth and play Geelong in a qualifying final at the MCG. 
  • The Bombers will finish eighth and play West Coast in an elimination final at Optus Stadium. 
Geelong 19.15 (129) def Carlton 8.13 (61)  
  • The Cats will win the minor premiership and host the Magpies in a qualifying final at the MCG. 
Greater Western Sydney 20.7 (127) def Gold Coast 7.13 (55) 
  • The Giants will finish sixth and host an elimination final against the Western Bulldogs. 

Hawthorn 16.9 (105) def West Coast 9.13 (67)
  • The Hawks will finish ninth.  
  • The Eagles will finish fifth and host an elimination final against Essendon at Optus Stadium. 
Western Bulldogs 18.13 (121) def Adelaide 13.9 (87)
  • The Dogs will finish seventh and play an elimination final against Greater Western Sydney.
  • The Crows will finish 11th.

  • The Tigers will finish third and play Brisbane in a qualifying final at the Gabba. 
  • The Lions will finish second and host the Tigers in their first final in 10 years. 
Port Adelaide 15.20 (110) def Fremantle 10.7 (67) 
  • The Power will finish 10th after failing to beat Fremantle by enough to leapfrog ninth-placed Hawthorn. 
  • The Dockers will finish 13th.
