The AFL congratulates Geelong Cats’ coach Chris Scott, who reaches the 350-game milestone as a coach this weekend.
Scott is just the sixth person in VFL/AFL history to coach 350 or more games at one club (Jock McHale, Kevin Sheedy, Dick Reynolds, Alastair Clarkson and David Parkin).
The AFL's Historian has compiled a list of key numbers and achievements across Scott's coaching career:

- Scott will be the quickest coach to 350 games, in 14 years and 104 days
- 236 wins after 349 games, only Tom Hafey (242) and Jock McHale (241) have had more victories from their first 350 games
- Has coached 125 players at AFL level and gave debuts to 67 of them
- Has spent more weeks sitting inside the top four (177) on the ladder than he has in the bottom 14 (159)
- Has sat inside the top eight for 278 of 336 home and away rounds since his coaching debut.
- Took 41 games to collect the set of a win vs all the other 17 clubs (equal quickest to do so alongside Don Pyke)
- One of 12 people, and the only one in the AFL era, to win a VFL/AFL premiership in their first season as coach
- There are only two games in his coaching career (2015 R23 and 2023 R24) that have started with the knowledge that it was not possible for Geelong to win the premiership that year
