CARLTON duo Caleb Marchbank and Matthew Kennedy have been confirmed as ins as the Blues try to avoid starting the season 0-6 for the first time in their 122 years in the VFL/AFL. 

Meanwhile, Western Bulldogs backman Hayden Crozier is back for the first time since round one after recovering from a right knee injury. 

Forwards Jarrod Garlett and Jed Lamb have been dropped for Carlton while Lukas Webb and Mitch Honeychurch were omitted from the Dogs' side, while Tory Dickson has suffered a left hamstring strain. 

Lachie Hunter and Bailey Williams have returned.

Both teams are desperate for a win, with the Blues rooted to the bottom of the ladder while the Dogs are 16th. 

Friday night's clash at Etihad Stadium will be Carlton key forward Levi Casboult's 100th game.
