AFL Head of State League Competitions Jennie Loughnan said the stage was set for a memorable 2025 rebel VFLW Finals Series.
“The 2025 rebel VFLW home and away season produced so many great highlights and has left us with six sides who are all capable of going on to win the premiership,” Loughnan said.
“Congratulations to North Melbourne-Werribee for securing the minor premiership after winning its inaugural rebel VFLW flag last year and well done to Collingwood, Box Hill Hawks, Sandringham, Williamstown and Essendon for also progressing to the finals.
“We have six very worthy teams still in the race for the premiership cup and we look forward to seeing who takes out the ultimate prize.
“On behalf of the AFL, I would like to thank all clubs, players, umpires, venues and our broadcast and commercial partners for their outstanding support of the rebel VFLW in 2025.”
The 2025 rebel VFLW home and away season featured 12 teams competing across a 14-round fixture.
The top-six teams on the ladder at the conclusion of the home and away season qualified for the 2025 rebel VFLW Finals Series, which will be played across four weeks.
North Melbourne-Werribee is the reigning premier after defeating the Western Bulldogs in the 2024 rebel VFLW Grand Final.

VENUES
The higher placed team on the rebel VFLW ladder at the conclusion of the home and away season will host matches in Weeks One and Two of the 2025 rebel VFLW Finals Series.
Both the Preliminary Final and Grand Final will be played at Port Melbourne’s ETU Stadium.
