The teams for the 2025 rebel VFLW Grand Final between Collingwood and North Melbourne-Werribee have been announced.

Collingwood regains deputy vice-captain Jordan Ivey for its clash with North Melbourne-Werribee in the 2025 rebel VFLW Grand Final.

The 32-year-old, who played 45 AFLW games for Geelong, Melbourne and the Magpies, missed both the qualifying and semi final, but returns from injury for her first game since Round 14.

It’s a timely return for Tom Cashin’s side, with Lily-Rose Williamson set to miss the premiership decider after retaining her place in Collingwood’s AFLW squad after making her club debut in last week’s win over the GWS Giants.

Molly Eastman has been named as an emergency after missing the previous two finals through injury, with the Magpies opting to maintain the line-up which has recorded impressive wins against the Kangaroos and Box Hill Hawks during the finals.

North Melbourne-Werribee has named an unchanged line-up for the Grand Final after beating the Box Hill Hawks by 21 points in last week’s preliminary final.

The Kangaroos have named ten players from last year’s premiership side as they aim to become just the second team to win back-to-back rebel VFLW flags, behind Darebin in 2016-17.

Alana Barba, Maddie Di Cosmo, Nyakoat Dojiok, Zara Flanigan, Amanda Ling, Tahlia Meir, Georgia Nicholas, Kate Reynolds, Renee Tierney and Matilda Zander have all been named to take on the Magpies after featuring in last year’s Grand Final win over the Western Bulldogs.

Three members of the beaten 2024 Bulldogs’ team will also play in this year’s premiership-decider, with Mia-Rae Clifford and Courtney Ugle named for the Kangaroos, while Dom Carbone will lead Collingwood after serving as the Western Bulldogs’ captain last year.
