ST KILDA midfielder Koby Stevens remains a chance to face North Melbourne on Sunday despite suffering a concussion against Melbourne on Sunday.

Meanwhile, there are no doubts on Jack Billings after his left eye closed over in the 24-point loss to the Demons and retiring champion Nick Riewoldt is expected back after concussion kept him out against the Roos.

There were reports Stevens suffered a perforated ear drum but the Saints said the onballer's ear wasn't injured to that extent, and that it wasn't a major concern ahead of the Roos game.

Stevens collided with Angus Brayshaw in the first quarter against the Demons.

The former Bulldog will undergo concussion testing throughout the week, with a call on his availability to be made closer to game day.

Billings copped a poke to his eye which was swollen up but he played on and finished with 30 disposals and booted 1.3.

Meanwhile, young forward Paddy McCartin's immediate future is still uncertain as he deals with concussion.

No timeline has been set for his return.
