A DAY IN THE LIFE OF

Most children's first experience in AFL is through participation in Auskick - junior and school football programs. As a Game Development Officer, you play a key role in helping grow participation through the delivery of fun and engaging programs, introducing participants to the AFL. You will be trained to deliver these to diverse groups in a safe, inclusive and consistent manner.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver NAB AFL Auskick & diversity programs in community football clubs and schools in a fun and inclusive way
  • Effective promotion of programs within schools, including school assemblies and clinics
  • Assisting with school football competitions and programs including set up, ground marshals and umpiring
  • Ensure adequate equipment is available to conduct programs
  • Provide assistance to Developments Leads and Coordinators, as required
  • Assistance with various promotional activations and coaching initiatives
