The Talent League is back and footy fans can watch the next generation of stars by live streaming every game of the boys and girls seasons.

The partnership between AFL and News Corp will continue in 2026, with one boys and one girls game to again be live streamed on KommunityTV each round.

All other Talent League games will be live streamed on the AFL Live Official App, via both the homepage and match centre.

The Talent League action begins in the boys competition this weekend, with the first KommunityTV game to be broadcast on Saturday, March 21 when the Calder Cannons and Western Jets meet at Highgate Recreation Reserve from 1:00pm.

AFL Head of Talent Nicky Couston said: “The AFL is excited to continue our streaming partnership with News Corp Australia into the 2026 Talent League season.

“The Talent League plays an important role in the Australian football pathway system and, with the great support of community clubs, has produced more AFL and AFLW players than any other competition.

“We are delighted to again showcase our game's future stars by streaming one match from each of the Talent League Boys and Girls competitions every round of the 2026 season, via KommunityTV.

“Fans can also watch every other game live on the AFL Live Official App.”

The Talent League is the premier underage football pathway competition for boys and girls in the eastern states of Australia, with teams comprised mostly of under 18 players.

Both boys and girls competitions feature 12 full-time programs from Victoria, along with the Tasmania Devils.

Academy programs from New South Wales (GWS GIANTS and Sydney Swans), Queensland (Brisbane Lions and Gold Coast SUNS) and Northern Territory (NT Academy) will continue to compete in a selection of games in the first half of the season.

The 2026 campaign will for the first time feature the Bachar Houli Foundation’s National Senior Boys Academy, who will play two matches during the Talent League Boys season. The Academy features promising Islamic footballers aged 18 years and younger.
