THE CONCLUSION of the Telstra AFL Trade Period means the future of a host of players have been decided.
But a number of others on the fringes of AFL teams across the country remain in limbo, having been told to wait until after the exchange period to learn their fates.
With list management decisions still ongoing across the competition ahead of next month's NAB AFL Draft, AFL.com.au provides an update on the remaining uncontracted players and where their futures could lie.
In limbo: After six players departed during the Telstra AFL Trade Period, only forward Riley Knight (pictured) remains on the shelf. The 24-year-old was at the club to welcome new coach Matthew Nicks but remains without a deal, with Sydney among clubs showing interest.
Delisted: Richard Douglas, Paul Hunter
Retired: Andy Otten
In limbo: There are hopes for Sam Skinner and Corey Lyons to win new deals. Matt Eagles should retain Category B status. With the Lions missing on Jamie Elliott, small forward Allen Christensen (pictured) is in a good position to earn a new contract.
Delisted: Ryan Bastinac, Ben Keays, Nick Robertson, Josh Walker
Retired: Luke Hodge
In limbo: Big man Levi Casboult (pictured) has triggered the one-year extension in his contract after failing to land a longer-term deal elsewhere during the Trade Period. Mid-season draftee Josh Deluca will return back to the club for pre-season training despite being delisted and rookie Matt Cottrell has signed on for another season.

In limbo: Veteran defender Lynden Dunn is expected to get delisted, but remains a chance to either be placed on the rookie list or remain with the club for pre-season training with the option of re-joining as an SSP signing. Talks are ongoing over a contract extension for Rupert Wills (pictured), while there have been reports that veterans Ben Reid and Travis Varcoe are on the verge of re-signing. Max Lynch will be elevated to the senior list. John Noble is likely to get a new deal following his strong finish to the year, but the signs aren't good for Ben Crocker, while Tim Broomhead also remains without a contract.
Delisted: Sam Murray
Retired: Tyson Goldsack, Daniel Wells
In limbo: The recruitment of ruckman Andrew Phillips could spell bad news for out-of-contract big man Zac Clarke (pictured).
