GOLD Coast forward Jake Rogers has been cleared by the Match Review Officer after a tough tackle on Christian Salem on Sunday.

Rogers' tackle on Salem saw the Melbourne defender hit his head into the turf during the Suns' loss to the Demons at the MCG.

But the young Sun wasn't cited by the Match Review Officer, meaning he is free to play in Gold Coast's Gather Round clash against Sydney on Saturday.

No incidents were cited by the MRO from Sunday's games.
