The AFL advises that two of the Round Seven Toyota Premiership matches on Saturday April 25 have had time adjustments.
Hawthorn v Gold Coast SUNS at UTAS Stadium will now start 15 minutes later than previously communicated. The new start time is 12.30pm AEST.
Subsequently, the ANZAC Day Essendon v Collingwood match at the MCG will now start five minutes later than previously communicated. The new start time is 3.20pm AEST.
AFL Head of Scheduling, Josh Bowler thanked clubs, broadcast partner Foxtel, Channel 7, UTAS Stadium and the MCG for collaboratively working together on a solution.
“Due to legislative requirements in Tasmania on ANZAC Day we have adjusted the start time of the Hawthorn v Gold Coast SUNS match,” Mr Bowler said.
“Subsequently as a result of this change, to minimise the overlap between that match and the MCG match, we've further adjusted the start time to 3.20pm, previously 3.15pm."
