The Smithy’s VFL teams for Round 16.

Zane Duursma will line up for North Melbourne in its clash with Collingwood at Marvel Stadium on Friday afternoon.

The number four pick in the 2023 AFL Draft was omitted from the AFL team following the Round 16 AFL win over Essendon but didn’t play at any level last week due to the Kangaroos’ bye in the VFL.

He’s joined in the line-up by fellow AFL-listed trio Callum Coleman-Jones, Wil Dawson and Luke Urquhart, as well as former AFL players Darcy Macpherson and Lachie Gollant.

Zac Banch, Riley Hardeman and Matt Whitlock have all been named in the AFL team for Friday night’s match, while Tom Powell has succumbed to injury again.

Roan Steele will play his first VFL game of the season for Collingwood, while Harry DeMattia and Iliro Smit will both be sidelined.

Teams for all remaining Round 16 matches will be announced on Friday.
