Adelaide has signed North Melbourne Werribee utility Jemmika Douglas as a replacement player for the upcoming AFLW season.

The 20-year-old, who made her VFLW debut for the Kangaroos in 2025 after being a member of Richmond’s Next Generation Academy, has played six VFLW games this season, averaging 18.6 disposals, along with five marks and two tackles. 

Douglas, who stands at 166cm, represented Vic Country at Under-18 level, before moving into the VFLW where she was part of last year’s Kangaroos VFLW premiership side. 

Crows Executive General Manager AFLW Bree Brock described Douglas as a courageous and tough utility whose strengths included her foot skills and versatility.

“Jemmika combines strong footy IQ with clean skills, and what we love is that she consistently puts her body on the line for her team,” Brock said.

“She is familiar with elite sporting environments having trained with both Richmond in their NGA and the Kangaroos, and that shines through with her competitiveness and reliability.

“Jemmika has faced challenges and multiple relocations in pursuit of her AFLW dream but has never stopped working to improve and earn her opportunity and that speaks volumes of how driven she is to achieve her dream.

“We’re excited to welcome her to the Crows and look forward to supporting her in her next chapter.”

Douglas will fill the final list spot left vacant by former AFLW Captain Chelsea Randall who retired last month.

She joins Dom Carbone, Georgia Clark, Abby Favell, Matilda Van Berkel and Paige Price as VFLW players added to AFLW lists as injury replacement players for the 2026 NAB AFLW season.
