The AFL wishes to congratulate St Kilda's Bradley Hill and Hawthorn's Jack Gunston ahead of their 300th games in Round 24.
Three-time premiership teammates at Hawthorn, Hill and Gunston are set to become the 113th and 114th players in VFL/AFL history to reach the 300-game milestone.
The AFL's Historian has compiled a list of key numbers and achievements across Hill and Gunston's careers below.

MISCELLANEOUS
• Pick No. 33 in the 2011 AFL Draft.
• Debuted in Round 4, 2012 against West Coast. Hill started the game as the substitute and was activated early in the fourth quarter, replacing David Hale.
• Becomes the fifth player to debut as a substitute and go on to reach 300 career games, after Luke Parker, Luke Breust, Dayne Zorko and Lachie Neale.
• Premiership player in 2013 (career game 29), 2014 (51) and 2015 (75). Hill kicked a goal in all three Grand Finals.
• Bradley and brother Stephen played against each other in the 2013 Grand Final, becoming just the second set of brothers to represent opposing teams in a VFL/AFL Grand Final, following Allan (Essendon) and Vic (South Melbourne) Belcher in 1912.
• From 2015 to 2020, Hill held the AFL-era record for the fewest games played before winning three premierships (75). He now sits second on the list behind Nathan Broad (70).
• Played 95 games for Hawthorn between 2012 and 2015 before being traded to Fremantle ahead of the 2016 season.
• Hill played 54 games for Fremantle, including 26 alongside his brother Stephen.
• Won the Doig Medal in 2017 in his first season at Fremantle.
• Hill was traded to St Kilda ahead of the 2020 season. The deal involved Blake Acres, with Acres taking Hill's No. 9 guernsey at Fremantle and Hill taking Acres' No. 8 at St Kilda.
• Has played 150 games for St Kilda.
• Between June 2023 and July 2024, Hill held the record for the most career games played without reaching 100 games at a single club.
• His 249th match was his 100th for St Kilda, the latest a player has reached 100 games for a club in VFL/AFL history.
• Hill becomes the ninth Indigenous player to reach the 300-game milestone, following Gavin Wanganeen (2006), Andrew McLeod (2008), Michael O'Loughlin (2009), Adam Goodes (2011), Shaun Burgoyne (2016), Eddie Betts (2019), Lance Franklin (2019) and Shane Edwards (2022).
• Hill has competed in two Grand Final Sprints (2020 and 2022).
• Bradley and Stephen Hill have played a combined 517 games, making them one of 13 pairs of brothers to have collectively played 500 or more VFL/AFL games.
• In 2025, Hill became the 156th player in VFL/AFL history to feature in 156 wins.
• Hill has played 53 games under Ross Lyon at Fremantle and 88 at St Kilda, making him one of 10 players to have played at least 50 VFL/AFL games under the same coach at two different clubs.
• Hill becomes the third player to play his 300th game following a five-day break, joining Jack Riewoldt (2021) and Mitch Duncan (2025).
• The span of 14 years and 121 days between debut and game 300 ranks 56th quickest among the 113 players to have reached the milestone.
• Hill has amassed 316 disposals across the 10 matches leading into his 300th game, the second most by any player in the 290s of their career behind Gary Ablett Jnr (323).
• His 41 disposals against Richmond in Round 23 were the most by any player in their 299th VFL/AFL game.
• Hill becomes the second player to reach the 300-game milestone having represented three clubs, joining Len Thompson (Collingwood, South Melbourne and Fitzroy).
• Note: John Rantall played for three clubs during his career, but only two within his first 300 games.
• He will become the sixth player to reach the 300-game milestone while representing St Kilda, and the first not to have played all 300 games for the Saints (Barry Breen, Stewart Loewe, Nathan Burke, Robert Harvey and Nick Riewoldt).
• Round 24, 2026 marks the first time two former teammates have played their 300th games in the same round.
• Bradley Hill and Jack Gunston played 88 games together at Hawthorn, including three premierships.
• They have played against each other nine times, with Gunston holding a 5-4 advantage.

• Drafted by Adelaide with pick No. 29 in the 2009 AFL Draft.
• Debuted in Round 9, 2010 against Brisbane, kicking Adelaide's final goal in a 12-point win.
• Played 14 games for Adelaide across 2010-11 before being traded to Hawthorn.
• Played 211 games for Hawthorn over the next 11 seasons.
• Was traded to Brisbane ahead of the 2023 season, playing 17 games before suffering a season-ending knee injury.

• Kicked 73 goals in 2025, the first time he had reached 60 goals in a season. This made him the third-oldest player at the time of his first 60-goal season and the second-oldest, behind Alastair Lynch, to record a first 70-goal season.
• In 2025, Gunston played in his fourth semi-final, a decade after appearing in his fourth Grand Final.
• The span of 16 years and 92 days between debut and game 300 ranks equal 101st (with Alastair Lynch) among the 114 players to have reached the milestone.
• Gunston has had 210 teammates throughout his career, the second most of any player in the AFL era behind Dale Kickett (221).
• Gunston kicked 12 goals in Grand Finals called by Bruce McAvaney, the most of any player.
