JAKE Stringer's departure from Greater Western Sydney has been confirmed, with the forward set to leave as an unrestricted free agent.
Stringer, 32, spent two seasons at the Giants after joining from Essendon, kicking 73 goals in 38 games.

The club said it had agreed with Stringer that "the time was right for both parties", with the former Western Bulldogs forward returning to Melbourne for family reasons.
"Jake has made a valuable contribution to our football club over the past two seasons and we thank him for his efforts in the orange and charcoal,' Giants executive general manager of football Jason McCartney said.
"His experience and firepower added another dimension to our forward line and we were grateful for the sacrifices he and his family made to give two years.
"We wish him all the best for what the future holds."
It is set to be an off-season of change at the Giants.
Jesse Hogan and Kieren Briggs look set to depart, Stephen Coniglio is deciding his future and captain Toby Greene may also leave.
GWS finished the 2026 season with a 10-13 record and in 12th on the ladder.
