GREATER Western Sydney free agent Kieren Briggs has confirmed he will leave the club, with the ruck expected to join Richmond.

Briggs has played 88 games with the Giants since joining the club in 2018.
An unrestricted free agent, the Giants are not able to match any offer for the 26-year-old.
Richmond made a lucrative long-term offer to Briggs' Giants teammate Nick Madden and also made a play for West Coast's No.1 ruckman Bailey Williams, but both recommitted to their clubs in recent months.
The Tigers have been scouring the ruck market across 2026 to support captain Toby Nankervis in 2027 and beyond.
"Kieren has been a valued member of our playing group over a long period of time both on and off the field," Giants footy boss Jason McCartney said.
"It's always a tough time of the year when we need to say farewell to good people, but unfortunately we were not in a position to retain Kieren moving forward.
"We wish Kieren and his family all the best for the next chapter and thank him for his service to the Giants."
The departure of Briggs follows those of veteran forwards Jesse Hogan and Jake Stringer, which were confirmed earlier this week.
