MELBOURNE father-son recruit Kalani White is among five delistings made by the Demons at season's end.

Jack Henderson, Aidan Johnson, Andy Moniz-Wakefield and Riley Onley have also been axed.

White, the son of former Dees ruck Jeff, has not been offered a contract for next year, but will be invited to train with the club during the pre-season supplemental selection period (SSP) ahead of 2027.

The developing tall didn't make his AFL debut after joining as a pre-selected rookie.

Henderson played five AFL games for the Demons after joining ahead of the 2025 season.

Johnson featured six times at AFL level, while Onley was untried after landing at Melbourne via the Rookie Draft.

The luckless Moniz-Wakefield suffered back-to-back knee injuries in the past two years after initially joining the Demons in 2021.

Moniz-Wakefield ended up playing eight AFL games for the Dees. 

"We would like to thank Jack, Aidan, Andy, Riley and Kalani for the contribution they have made to our football program," Melbourne list manager Tim Lamb said.

"Each of them has approached their time at the club with a strong level of commitment and professionalism, and we are grateful for everything they have given during their time at here.

"These decisions are never easy, and we wish all five players nothing but the best for whatever comes next in their football journeys."

Under first-year coach Steven King, the Demons made the wildcard final this season.

They have now made 10 list changes with Tom Campbell, Steven May, Shane McAdam, Tom McDonald and Jake Melksham having retired this year.
