ST KILDA will be without gun midfielder Tyanna Smith after the 23-year-old copped a one-match ban for a rough tackle on West Coast's Ella Roberts during Sunday's clash.

Smith, who has far and away been the Saints' best player in their 0-6 start to the season, collected the Eagles star in a dumping tackled during the fourth quarter of the Saints' 11-point loss.

If the Saints accept the sanction, they'll be without Smith for their clash against Gold Coast on Sunday.
