HAWTHORN pair Max Ramsden and Flynn Perez will be given the chance to win their way back onto the Hawks' list despite being delisted by the club.
The Hawks have not offered either player a contract for 2027 but have invited both to train during the pre-season supplemental selection period.
WHO'S CALLED IT QUITS 2026's retirements and delistings
Ramsden joined the Hawks via the 2022 Mid-Season Draft, with the key forward playing 11 games for a return of six goals.
Perez played seven games after he was signed as part of the pre-season supplemental selection period earlier this year.
The 25-year-old had previously spent four seasons on North Melbourne's list.
Both player will have the chance to resurrect their careers over the summer after the club offered them the opportunity to train-on in the hopes of winning back a spot on the list.
"Naturally, at the conclusion of the trade and free agency period we are required to make further decisions on our list," Hawks list boss Mark McKenzie said.
"While these decisions can be difficult, I’d like to recognise the mutual respect and understanding that we’ve had with Max and Flynn through this process.
"As we farewell Max and Flynn, I'd like to thank both of them for their contribution to Hawthorn and wish them well in their future endeavours."
It continues a big list overhaul for the Hawks, who have already farewelled Cody Anderson, James Blanck, Henry Hustwaite and Jaime Uhr-Henry.
Additionally, Sam Butler, Finn Maginness, Bodie Ryan and Aidan Schubert all found new homes during the trade period.
