BRISBANE Lions ruckman Matthew Leuenberger returns for his first game since round two after being named to face Carlton at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Leuenberger has put together some good form in the NEAFL in recent weeks and joins Ryan Lester as one of two inclusions for the Lions, replacing Brent Staker (hamstring) and Rohan Bewick (omitted).

Dale Thomas, Nick Graham and Levi Casboult have all been named for Carlton.

Thomas is playing his first game since injuring his shoulder in round one. David Ellard and Robbie Warnock have both been omitted while Lachie Henderson is missing with a hamstring injury.

Despite rumours surrounding Josh Kennedy's fitness, the West Coast forward has been named to face Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval after pulling up well from training on Thursday.

First-year defender Jackson Nelson returns in place of Patrick McGinnity (omitted), while Brant Colledge has travelled to Adelaide as an emergency.

The Power have made just one change from the side that won the Showdown last week with Brendon Ah Chee replacing the injured Jared Polec (foot).
