WHILE Hawthorn is looking to restock its attack in the absence of Jack Gunston, Adelaide is readying a full-strength forward line arsenal.

The two sides face off in Friday night's semi final at the MCG, with the winner to face Fremantle in the preliminary final.

Crows skipper Taylor Walker is in career-best touch, Eddie Betts too – but the likes of Josh Jenkins, Charlie Cameron, Riley Knight and Tom Lynch can't be forgotten.

Betts and Walker have combined for 121 goals this season – the most potent combination in the game.

Jenkins has 42 to his name, Lynch 30, Cameron 21 and Knight booted two important goals in last week's seven-point win over the Western Bulldogs.

Lynch also remains the League leader for goal assists (30).

"We've got some firepower down there," coach Scott Camporeale said on Thursday morning.

"It's whether we can get it in there enough times to give them opportunities is the big thing.

"Knowing Alastair (Clarkson) and the Hawthorn footy club, they'll be more worried about what they will want to try and achieve."

Adelaide was offered a prime example of how to defeat the reigning premiers, when West Coast won through to a preliminary final last week.

But Camporeale said his side wouldn't attempt to replicate the Eagles' performance – instead keeping faith in the club's own plans.

"We'll focus in on what we want to do ... we would be silly to sit here and say we're going to do exactly what West Coast did, because we're not West Coast," he said.

"We have got enough firepower forward, we have got a really strong midfield, and our defence has held up really well, so we'll be backing those things in.

"You can fall into the trap, if you start watching opposition teams and trying to pick things out that they have done really well, because it's hard to implement.

"We will be backing our systems in to get the job done."
