BRISBANE and Gold Coast have traded an array of NAB AFL Draft picks.

The Lions have received picks 32, 41, 44 and 77 in this year's draft, while the Suns acquired 24, 58 and 79.

In terms of draft points, the selections Brisbane received added up to 1358, while Gold Coast's total was 955, giving the Lions an extra 403 points.

Brisbane has Connor McFadyen coming through its academy, a 190cm inside midfielder who can also play forward and was placed at No.24 in Cal Twomey's most recent Phantom Form Guide.

With a suite of picks already, including three in the first round, Gold Coast would be weighing up how many players it wants to take at the draft.

Furthermore, with prospective draftee Bailey Scott having nominated to play for North Melbourne, where his father Robert won a flag, rather than Gold Coast or Geelong, the Suns didn't require as many points in the third round.
