CARLTON has withdrawn one player from its squad ahead of Thursday night's opening JLT Community Series fixture against Essendon at Ikon Park.
Lochie O'Brien has been left out of the 26-man squad named on Wednesday evening, meaning the Blues will play with 25 players against the Dons.
Matthew Lobbe and Angus Schumacher were originally listed as outs, but will play in the second half.

Top draft pick Sam Walsh has been given his chance to impress for Carlton, with recruits Mitch McGovern, Will Setterfield, Michael Gibbons and Nic Newman also named.
Patrick Cripps plays in his first official game as Carlton captain.

Essendon is unchanged from the side it named earlier in the week, with star forward Joe Daniher set to make his return to football following almost a year out with osteitis pubis.
Dyson Heppell (hamstring), Zach Merrett (ankle) and Devon Smith (biceps) are also set to feature, despite missing a large portion of the summer due to respective injury issues.
Gun new recruit Dylan Shiel is one of three new faces named to play for Essendon, alongside ruckman Zac Clarke and rookie Tom Jok.
