It was a short turnaround that made for some tough navigating over the first two rolling lockouts but in good news, it is back to normality for the foreseeable future with the first game of round seven occurring on a Friday night.

Scott Pendlebury turned back the clock and once again reinstated the fact he is a big game player with a dominant performance against the Bombers. The Collingwood skipper lit up the MCG with a vintage 38 possessions to go with seven marks and six tackles for a round high 148.

Honourable mention: Patrick Dangerfield came home like a Sunday afternoon steam train, heavily rewarding coaches who gave him captain responsibilities. The star Cat had a field day at home against an Eagles side that has restricted many this season. He had 30 touches, complemented nicely by nine marks, eight tackles and a goal for 138.

Tom Liberatore has been a fantastic pick since the start of the year, averaging over 90 points and increasing in price by over $200K. Something has not been right for the last couple of weeks at the Dogs however, and Libba certainly hasn't managed to maintain his terrific start during that time, backing up last week's disappointing effort with just 57. The most disappointing part of his game was the fact he didn't tackle, something we consider a given from the premiership winning dog. It's time to turn him into a reliable premium.

Honourable mention: Lachie Whitfield has arguably been the best pick of the season but unfortunately, through no fault of his own, he had a disastrous game against the Swans due to a massive corkie he received in the first half. In a gutsy performance, he tried to stay on the ground for his coaches and even snagged a bonus goal, but it was still only enough to reach 39 points. A tough decision is pending if he misses this week and hopefully the young star is back fit and firing soon.

Jack Ross was on fire late in the game to finish with 14 possessions in the last quarter to ensure he reached an impressive score of 92, while as far as downgrade targets go, young Lion Noah Answerth out performed expectations with an impressive seven marks and five tackles contributing to his score of 75.

He is in ripping form and deserving of the conversation, I just have more faith in other guys in that price bracket.

You are correct mate, every team needs Boak up forward ASAP.

It's still not the role we paid the big bucks for, however it was better in the last quarter. Hopefully that is a positive moving forward.

In the mix mate, what a star he is.
