GOLD Coast has begun its off-season cull by delisting three players.

Key defender Jack Leslie and Suns Academy duo Brad Scheer and Connor Nutting have been informed their contracts will not be renewed.

Leslie, 24, is the most senior of the trio, having played 28 games across six seasons, but none in 2019.

Scheer has played 13 games in three seasons, including three this year.

A half-forward that can spend time in the midfield, the Gold Coast product had arguably the best game of his career in round 15 against Sydney.

Playing as a defensive forward, Scheer kept dangerous Swan Jake Lloyd to just 16 disposals and managed to kick a goal himself.

Nutting was drafted by the Suns two years ago, but the half-back was unable to crack the senior team.

The delistings add to the recent retirement of Michael Rischitelli and come on the same day Jack Martin officially informed the club he wanted to be traded.
