TWO MORE Irishmen will trial in front of AFL clubs when they travel to Australia next week for a fortnight-long audition, including attending the NAB AFL Draft Combine.

Oisin Gallen and Cian McBride will arrive in Melbourne on Tuesday, following in the footsteps of countrymen Ronan Devereux, Ross McQuillan, Peadar Mogan and Luke Towey, who trialled in April.

They will train with the under-17 All-Stars ahead of their match on Grand Final morning before completing a battery of tests at the Combine a week later.

Donegal's Gallen is considered one of Ireland's brightest Gaelic football prospects, along with Kerry rising stars David Clifford and Sean O'Shea.

Clifford's been the target of significant AFL interest in the past but has so far resisted those overtures.

AFL.com.au understands three females are set to join Gallen and McBride – although a week later – with AFLW clubs already showing a strong appetite for Irish prospects.

The men's Combine runs from Tuesday, October 1 until Friday, October 4, while the women's Combine is from October 1 to 2.

More than 10 AFLW teams are tracking Irish gun Aisling Moloney, an athletic 21-year-old who starred in Tipperary's All-Ireland Intermediate title triumph at the weekend.

It's believed Moloney, who is close with countrywoman and Collingwood-listed player Sarah Rowe, would not contemplate playing in Australia until at least the 2021 AFLW season.

Meanwhile, McQuillan has since committed to Essendon and will be a Bomber in 2020, while Towey spent another week training in August with Gold Coast and is set to join the Suns.

Melbourne, where Irish trailblazers Sean Wight and Jim Stynes played, has also shown some interest in 173cm Mogan.

Another Irishman, Jordan Morrissey, remains on the AFL radar as he continues to train under the watchful eye of former Magpie Marty Clarke.

On top of all that, Sydney signed Barry O'Connor in early June – after he trialled exclusively for the Swans in the Harbour City in April – and he is moving there in October.

However, Red Og Murphy quit halfway through his North Melbourne contract in August to return to Ireland.

There will be a men's and, for the first time, a women's AFL Europe Combine for Irish prospects in Dublin in December.
