We are seeking a highly organised and proactive person to fulfil the role of IT Support Coordinator. This role will play a vital operational service function in providing the first point of contact for employee’s technical support requests and assistance to the Infrastructure, Projects and Technology department across a variety of functions and projects. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, highly developed written and verbal communication skills, trouble shooting and analytical skills and an ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The IT Support Coordinator will be responsible for these key areas within the department:

-          Provide first and second level IT support.
-          Support and maintain the clubs IT, AV and printer systems.
-          Monitor software applications and licenses in use, performing renewals and regularly updating applications as per business requirements.
-          Provide assistance to IT Manager and IT Administrators with project related tasks.
-          Manage and facilitate IT systems and equipment.
-          Build, maintain and deploy a Standard Operating Environment.
-          Regularly monitor and maintain the operation of backup systems.

The successful candidate will have completed tertiary qualifications or be currently completing tertiary qualifications in an IT related field and have at least two years’ experience in a relevant support or administration role. The IT Support Coordinator requires a strong knowledge of Networking, Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and Operating Systems (including Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7 & Apple OSX/iOS). Competency with the Microsoft Office suite of programs is also required and knowledge of the AFL is desirable but not essential.

There is a requirement for all full time staff to assist on match days and other events as required by the club, which includes weekends. The remuneration and benefits provided factor in this requirement.
