FREMANTLE forward Matt de Boer has no interest in being rested ahead the Dockers' finals tilt.
The 23-year-old is one of seven Dockers to have played all 19 matches this season, alongside Michael Johnson, Danyle Pearce, Chris Mayne, Ryan Crowley, Tendai Mzungu and Zac Dawson.
Fremantle coach Ross Lyon has weighed up the possibility of resting players, but de Boer stated he had no desire to have a rest before September.
"No, not at all," de Boer said.
"Who wouldn't want to be in this team right now?
"There's obviously boys knocking on the door, and that competition is really healthy for spots. I won't be giving up mine easily at all."
The Dockers have a dream run towards the finals, starting with Melbourne on Sunday at the MCG.
Following that they face Port Adelaide at home and St Kilda at Etihad Stadium.
Should they win all three, they will finish with 17-and-a-half wins and will secure a double chance.
Freo's 113-point thumping of Greater Western Sydney last Sunday saw them gain 13 percentage points on the third-placed Swans but de Boer felt his team still had some things to work on.
"There's some significant areas we're still looking to improve," he said.
"We're always striving to improve our football first and foremost and there's definitely some things that we outlined in the second quarter that need improvement."
The Dockers were 47 points ahead two minutes into the second term against the Giants before conceding five straight goals to the wooden-spoon favourites.
"Probably in the centre-square bounce and just our lack of contested possessions and the effort we brought in there," de Boer said of the second-quarter lapse.
"Just a few things that we can tinker with and hopefully rectify."
