WEST Coast captain Darren Glass, Western Bulldogs defender Brett Goodes and Fremantle midfielder Nathan Fyfe are all facing stints on the sidelines after being offered suspensions by the Match Review Panel.
A number of Hawthorn and North Melbourne players have also been fined for their involvement in the second-quarter melee that took place on Sunday evening at the MCG.
However, Hawks forward Luke Breust is free to play this weekend after the match-day report laid against him for striking North ruckman Todd Goldstein was thrown out.
Fyfe was cited for kicking Richmond's Daniel Jackson during the second quarter of Freo's one-point win over the Tigers on Friday night.
His initial sanction was two matches, but he can have the ban reduced to one if he pleads guilty.
Richmond's Brad Helbig was cited for misconduct after standing on the hand of Freo's Danyle Pearce in the first quarter of the same game.
Helbig can accept a $900 fine.
Glass and Goodes have both been offered two-game suspensions.
The West Coast skipper was reported for a high bump on Port Adelaide's Paul Stewart during the Eagles' loss at AAMI Stadium on Saturday night.
His poor record meant his initial penalty was a three-match ban, but he can have it reduced to two if he pleads guilty.
The tackle laid by Power recruit Angus Monfries on Eagles onballer Matt Priddis was looked at.
Although Priddis was concussed and took no further part in the game, the panel found that "Monfries' tackle was not an inherently dangerous tackle and Priddis was not slung or driven into the ground with excessive force, but the West Coast player was adversely affected by the momentum of a legal tackle".
Goodes was booked for collecting Geelong youngster Josh Caddy in the head during the Bulldogs' 21-point loss to the Cats at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.
Caddy was concussed by the impact and took no further part in the game.
Like Glass, Goodes copped a three-match ban, but he can have it reduced to two if he pleads guilty.
North Melbourne's Jamie Macmillan escaped with a reprimand after being cited for headbutting Hawthorn star Lance Franklin, which instigated the aforementioned melee.
Macmillan and his teammates Scott Thompson, Ryan Bastinac and Aaron Mullett all copped fines for being involved in the melee as did Franklin and fellow Hawks players Isaac Smith, Jack Gunston and Jordan Lewis.
Western Bulldogs skipper Matthew Boyd and Brisbane Lions duo James Polkinghorne and Billy Longer were cited by the MRP, but all of them can accept reprimands.
