Like Gold Coast, Port Adelaide will be Saturday specialists in 2013, with 14 games on Saturday afternoon, twilight or night, and none on Friday night. The Power have some winnable games in the opening month, with clashes against Melbourne, Greater Western Sydney and Gold Coast around a Showdown with Adelaide. Ken Hinkley's team faces the Crows, Suns, Giants, Geelong and Carlton twice. The round 23 game against the Blues will be the last home and away game ever at AAMI Stadium.
CLUB REACTION
"From start to finish, our 2013 fixture helps us farewell AAMI Stadium and lay the foundations for the following year when we move to Port Adelaide's new home ground at Adelaide Oval. To cap it all off, we play the very last AFL home and away game at AAMI Stadium 16 years after Port Adelaide entered the AFL and where the club won 13 SANFL premierships." - Port Adelaide CEO Keith Thomas
