PORT Adelaide has axed veteran big man Justin Westhoff as it prepares to continue its brilliant start to the season against an in-form St Kilda.

The Power have dropped the 33-year-old for Saturday night's clash at Adelaide Oval as one of three changes for the clash.

In other selection news, Lions ruckman Stef Martin will miss two months with a back injury, the Giants will be without Shane Mumford and the Swans made five changes.

Westhoff has been a staple of Port's line-up for more than a decade, playing in every game this season and having registered 20 or more games in each of the past nine seasons.

But he has been surprisingly cut by the Power, with Ryan Burton and Steven Motlop out injured.

Riley Bonner, Brad Ebert and Mitch Georgiades have been added to the side, with young gun Connor Rozee named despite a heel issue.

The Saints have also made three changes, with speedster Matt Parker one of the inclusions, but small forward Jack Lonie has been left out.

Greater Western Sydney will be bolstered by the return of superstar forward Toby Greene for Friday night's Grand Final rematch with Richmond, but have lost Shane Mumford to injury.

The Tigers have replaced Josh Caddy with youngster Patrick Naish.

Carlton will head into Saturday's match with North Melbourne with the same side that lost after the siren to Port last week, but the Roos have made four changes.

Cam Zurhaar, Jed Anderson, Luke Davies-Uniacke and Nick Larkey have all been included after injury issues, with former Pie Marley Williams and free agent Mason Wood omitted.

Sydney big man Sam Reid, former Lion Lewis Taylor, and Matthew Ling are among five inclusions for the Swans ahead of their SCG meeting with Hawthorn on Saturday.

Ling, who was pick No.14 in the 2017 NAB AFL Draft, will make his long-awaited debut after numerous Achilles and toe problems. And the Hawks have handed a debut to former Sun and Eagle Keegan Brooksby.

Essendon has replaced ruckman Andrew Phillips with Tom Bellchambers and included Aaron Francis to cover Cale Hooker's (calf) absence in defence for the Bombers' battle with Adelaide.

Out-of-favour Crow Bryce Gibbs has been named in an extended squad.

Sunday's contest between heavyweights West Coast and Collingwood will see Eagles skipper Luke Shuey return from injury, but Travis Varcoe has joined Jordan De Goey on the Pies' injury list.

Josh Thomas, Matt Scharenberg, Ben Reid and Brayden Sier are among the possible inclusions for the Pies after their strong win over Geelong last week.
