LOVE takes many forms in football, one being the special affection we hold for certain players.

We'd like to share the love around, so we want you to take the survey below and tell us which player you love most at your club.

• Has Patrick Dangerfield already surpassed captain courageous Joel Selwood as the sentimental favourite at the Cattery?

• Can Jack Riewoldt, Alex Rance or Trent Cotchin challenge pin-up boy Dustin Martin at Tigerland?

For a nostalgic trip down memory lane, we also want to know which past player stole the biggest chunk of your Sherrin-shaped heart. For each club we've shortlisted fan favourites who played the bulk of their careers from the 1970s onwards. 

The results will appear in the round 17 edition of the AFL Record, and online here on Sunday July 16.
