The talented big man has played every game this season, but it will come down to whether English can get through training on Thursday.

"There is a chance Tim might not be available this week," Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge told SEN.

Potential debutant Jordon Sweet will be in the mix to replace English if required, while veteran Jackson Trengove also looms as an option.

The 203cm Sweet was named emergency in round 12 after a great effort against Brisbane's Connor Ballenden the week prior and held his own against Essendon's Andrew Phillips in recent scratch matches.

The Bulldogs look likely to regain Jason Johannisen from a minor ankle injury, while Laitham Vandermeer and Josh Bruce should be right to go after being managed for the Crows game.

Aaron Naughton will be looking to back up his six-goal performance, despite copping a corkie in the forearm.
