BRISBANE midfielder Lachie Neale has been recognised for his outstanding season by the game's 18 coaches, named the Shadforth Financial Group AFL Coaches' Association Player of the Year on Thursday night.
Neale enjoyed a terrific campaign, leading the League for disposals and finishing top-five in the competition for both clearances and contested possessions as the Lions soared to second-place on the AFL ladder.
