Hawthorn Football Club Captain Luke Hodge has announced his vice-captains for 2011 to a packed Regent Theatre at the Club’s Season Launch dinner.

Hodge confirmed the appointment of Jarryd Roughead and Jordan Lewis as his vice-captains for season 2011.

Roughead and Lewis were selected to deputise Hodge by both the playing group and coaching panel, with the decision endorsed by the Club’s Board.

“Jarryd and Jordan are well respected leaders within our Club and have shown great leadership over several years, and stepped it up to another level over this pre-season,” said Hodge.

“At Hawthorn we understand that leadership is not left to the three of us, we have an older experienced group and younger maturing guys coming through."
