Brett Kirk will be available to play this Saturday night against the Brisbane Lions following a tribunal hearing on Tuesday evening.
Kirk pleaded guilty to recklessly making contact with an umpire and received a $1950 fine and 93.75 demit points.
The guilty plea reduced the penalty by 25 per cent, which started at 125 demit points and a $2600 fine.
Kirk remained in Sydney for the video-link hearing and made a brief statement following the decision.
"I am happy to be playing this weekend and I will move on pretty quickly from this. I will seek clarification from my coach should this situation arise again and how I'll deal with it," Kirk said.
