The in-form midfielder polled nine of a possible ten votes for his 33 possession effort against the Bulldogs. It was the second time this season Wells registered 30 disposals or more, and equaled his career-best tally.
Meanwhile, Ziebell has overcome a slow start to the season to play arguably his best two months of senior football since debuting back in 2009.
In the past month he's averaged 27 possessions a game including a career-high 41 against the Bulldogs.
Brad Scott and Rodney Eade also recognised the terrific work of Drew Petrie who kicked five goals and pulled down 11 marks as the dominant forward on the ground.
Such was the brilliance of Wells, Ziebell and Petrie, Andrew Swallow's 36 possessions saw him take home just the one vote.
