The AFL has determined that West Coast will play at home due to the heavy travel load the club will face through the premiership season. Collingwood will be fixtured to play in Perth, due to its lighter travel load for the 2011 season, when compared to St Kilda.
On Friday night the Magpies withstood a late Swan charge to secure their spot in next week's semi-final while the Eagles held the Gold Coast Suns to two goals in their second half encounter to get home by 37 points.
The AFL wishes to advise the fixture for the semi-finals for the 2011 NAB Cup will be as follows:
First Semi Final
Friday March 4
Essendon v St Kilda at Etihad Stadium, 7.40pm (Network 10)
Second Semi Final
Saturday March 5
West Coast v Collingwood at Patersons Stadium, 5.40pm WST (Fox Sports)
