To celebrate the start of the 2011 season, a giant Swans guernsey has taken to the skies of Sydney.
The guernsey was launched on Friday for the first time, making its way over Sydney’s north shore, Manly, Sydney Harbour and through the CBD past the offices of Swans’ sponsors QBE and Citi.
The flights of the giant guernsey come as the Swans prepare for their opening match of the 2011 premiership season against Melbourne at the MCG on Sunday.
Fans can expect to the see the guernsey in the air again on Friday from 9am. Taking off from Terrey Hills, the guernsey will head to Bankstown and then to South Head, over Bondi, Randwick and then to the inner west of Sydney.
